No placehold for links? - thatseo - 10-23-2017 I had high hope for this software but I'm now finding that links in content can't be placed? They can only be placed at random? I only want the links to the end articles? Is there no shortcode or way to keep a link placement where I want it? Its really spammy to have a link slapped in the middle of an article for no reason RE: No placehold for links? - kbourro - 10-24-2017 (10-23-2017, 02:16 PM)thatseo Wrote: I had high hope for this software but I'm now finding that links in content can't be placed? Shortcodes added in the latest update. Thanks for mention it. RE: No placehold for links? - gacott - 11-06-2017 This looks like a good place to add my question: Recently bought a lifetime license and am having an issue, hope you can help. I have some articles that have been carefully crafted to include anchors and links. I set the software up to send no links to web 2.0s because they are already included in the articles. But the software stripped all of the links from the articles. Is there a way to prevent this? Is there a setting issue. Also, maybe include a shortcode for anchors = URLs. So when I used a specific shortcode in the software, it would place in the correct anchor and automatically link it to it's assigned url. So in a section of anchor shortcodes (could be anchor1, anchor2, etc) I would place the anchor text and the URL. Then I would simply place those short codes in my articles. :-) Thanks RE: No placehold for links? - archer - 11-06-2017 (11-06-2017, 07:21 PM)gacott Wrote: This looks like a good place to add my question: Hello Garret, I am going to post the same here as my email to you.... Let's see how you can use the "Links per Article" and Shortcodes features together. If you want to use shortcodes inside the article body, you must tell the software how many backlinks you want to have in the article. Example: You have 10 money site urls and you want to have 3 links per article: 1 url with Primary Keyword 1 url with generic keyword 1 url with branded keyword 1 image 1 Youtube video 1 Google Maps embed Then you will have to choose "Links per Article 3", and use the shortcodes: [primary] [generic] [branded] and [image] [video] [map] Make sure to add the corresponding urls here: Image Field: Number of Images 1 Youtube Video Field: Number of Videos 1 Google Maps Field: Number of embeds 1 If you don't want to use shortcodes for Images, Videos and Maps just fill only the fields without using shortcodes in the article for those links. I hope that clarifies how shortcodes and SEO Strategies work. If you still have any questions just reply to this thread. Regards, Archer RE: No placehold for links? - gacott - 11-06-2017 Hey man, thanks for the response. The problem is that the existing shortcodes don't match my needs. I need to be very specific about anchors and the URLs the go to, The anchors might not even be what I list as a keyword. So in this case, how do a NOT use any short codes at all, and take 100% control of how my anchors link out to a website? Meaning, can I put html in the document, with anchor linking out and not have it stripped? Now the suggestion part. As far as I can see, though existing short codes this is not something we have the ability to do, so could that be added? where I can list the anchor I want to use and the URL I want that anchor to link to? I guess I could use primary, generic and branded, but I want those for how they were intended to be and I want each to go to another URL? I think another short URL type of "anchor" would be of benefit, where you can place in the text to be used for the anchor, and then the URL it would be linked to. You could add up to maybe five of these. Sorry if I don't fully understand how this all works. The hard part was that some websites take iframes and anchor links using different code like [embed] or [anchor href="..."]...[/anchor]. SEO Autopilot is going to replace your html code based on the website it post, this way we are going to keep success rate high. RE: No placehold for links? - gacott - 11-09-2017 I really appreciate it, it will make a huge difference to us for sure and I would imagine others have articles already laid out like this as well. Waiting as patiently as I can as I don't think I've seen an update come out. RE: No placehold for links? - gacott - 11-13-2017 Can we get an update on this update? Thanks Garret |
